Popco is a wholesale manufacturer, distributor, exporter and importer of point-of-purchase display components; many of which are proprietary.

Our typical customers are point-of-purchase display manufacturers, creative agencies, printers and hand binderies. Other customers include state printing offices, educational facilities, and the creative individuals working on their next big idea.

Incorporated in 1979, Popco was founded by Philip Wear who specialized in designing and producing unique point-of-purchase promotions for prominent corporate clients in the Upper Midwest. By the mid 1980’s Mr. Wear began to change the focus of the company to include stock items and in 1988 he published Popco’s first catalog. Featured in that first catalog was Popco’s patented Bannerail sign hanging system, along with wobblers and other items to display eye-catching messages at the point-of-purchase.

During that time Popco joined the Intercreator Group. The Intercreator Group is an international cooperative of small independent POP designers and manufacturers which opened international trade, both import and export, of unique POP fasteners.

While many of our competitors have shifted their sourcing offshore, Popco continues to design and produce most of our injection molded parts, and all of our extrusions locally, using our own proprietary tooling. This gives us better control of our inventory, quality control and certainty of origin and material content. For project managers on short deadlines, this means faster delivery on custom runs.

Among the parts we specialize in, and with which we have a distinct competitive advantage, are our SNAPRAIL™ poster and banner mounting system, J and H Channels, finned and standard sign feet, various single-piece push fasteners and our extensive line of two-piece binding posts – Viking and Flat Cap screws.

Compare our pricing and lead time to the landed costs of your current overseas sources. You’ll find Popco is competitive, and offers fast turn around. Additionally, when you choose Popco, you’ll be supporting a family founded and operated American business.
